Article Processing Charges

Information

We’re here with an open access platform for our journals specifically for the special issues topics which are available online, immediately upon publication which leads to unlimited access anytime anywhere. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the costs of turning a manuscript into a finished article, as well as the costs of hosting, distributing and promoting an article. Here’s the detailed explanation about article processing charges:-

This includes provision of online tools for editors and authors, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management. The APC, payable when your manuscript is editorially accepted and before publication, is charged to either you, or your funder, institution or employer. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data.

When a manuscript is submitted, it passes through the many different departments to ensure the quality checks, peer review, production and promotion of the article is carried out in a timely manner at a high standard.

This process includes:

  1. Publishing Operations & Editorial Screening  all the initial technical and ethical checks are done for peer review procedure.
  2. Editorial Operations  includes the Journal's Editors manage the review process.
  3. Article Formatting the manuscript are converted to a professionally typeset article and well-structured format.
  4. Proof-reading  the proof-reading process supports authors and Editors to approve the final text and request any missing information.
  5. Editorial Quality Assurance final check is done to ensure that the manuscript and its review process adhere to the journal's guidelines and policies.
  6. Indexing to ensure journals are indexed as widely as possible and published articles receive the attention they deserve.
  7. Marketing and Communication promotion of journals and articles through conducting conferences, advertisements, and other promotional activities, as well as a series of awards to support researchers.
  8.  Technology teams the team creates and maintains our easy-to-use, compatible platform.
  9. Digital Objective Identifier Allotment is a system used to identify a content object in a digital environment such as the Internet. DOIs are used to reduce the search time for public documents as well as for managing content, its meta data and to facilitate linking.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOI )

DOI numbers (Digital Object Identifiers) are unique number combinations assigned to an article, it is the web address of a paper that drives the searcher to the publisher's website and to that article. Each article gets a special identification number at the time of publication, and it tends to be utilized to distinguish the article all through its life, regardless of where it has been moved.

Benefits of DOI:

  • Allows for a quick and precise search.
  • Article can always be located.
  • Persistent link to its location on the Internet.
  • Easier identification of published articles even if the metadata URL is changed.
  • An article with a DOI diminishes its danger of getting to be lost in this "metadata super mess.
  • Depending upon qualification and interview outcome
Time Period

Usual credit terms are 15-20 days from receipt of original invoice. Invoices will be chased periodically, but if after 20 days no payment is received, the author will be contacted. Failure to pay invoices within the stated credit term may result in restrictions placed upon authors' ability to publish with JoPC Journals in the future, involvement of a third party debt collection agency and legal proceedings. In the case of articles that JoPC Journals publishes on behalf of partners, the partner organisation and, where appropriate, the journal editors may be notified of non-payment and will make a decision on what penalty to levy on the author. However, JoPC Journals recognizes that often authors do not pay the APC personally, and if an author's institution is to pay the APC, it may take some time for an invoice to be paid.
