    Special Issue Description

    Dear Collegues,

Telechelic polymers belong to a very important and special category of polymers, as these are the highly reactive polymers that are used in the synthesis of many kinds of polymers, and in a way they can also be called the architecture polymers.Telechelic polymers are known by many different names like “telechelics” or “prepolymers” and many more. Telechelic polymers have obtained various architectures to date like Block Copolymers, Graft Copolymers, Segmented Networks, Cyclic Polymers,Chain extended Polymers, Star Polymers, etc.

Telechelic Polymers are an extremely reactive category of polymers with functional groups at their chain ends and based on these functional groups, these polymers are divided into three categories (i) heterotelechelic (ii) semitelechelic (iii) telechelic. Telechelic polymers are crucial for the creation of block copolymers because they serve as the build for the copolymers' structural designs. Particularly, the development of thermoplastic elastomers has sparked significant industryinterest in ABA triblock copolymers.

Telechelic polymers acting as the foundation polymers have given many structures and products and in order to strengthen this foundation, the Journal of Polymer & Composites has come up with this special issue Telechelic Polymers.

    Manuscript Submission information

Manuscripts should be submitted online by registering and logging in to this link. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent on email address:[email protected] for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page.
